Schloss Dyck’s historic ‘swan neck’ orangery has been beautifully restored, but like many others in Europe it has been turned into an events space. There are still several that remain in Germany, Holland, Belgium, Austria and the UK that maintain these special buildings for their original purpose and look after important collections of citrus fruits and other tender plants. We hear from experts on the topic from the perspective of cultural heritage, sustainability and biodiversity as well as the effects of climate change. The outcomes of the webinar will be followed up and practical guidance and advice will be shared on two characteristic sites.
